Title says it, if I delete a child account does all the data under that child get removed? 

Yes, when you delete a child all files are removed.  Care should be taken when deleting children.  There is a new method called SetChildAccountPassword  that will change a childs password if you are the master account.  This could be used to not allow children to log in.
