We have released the Java SDK 1.3.1, this is a minor release to fix a problem with uploading files larger than 2 gb. We have also added file encryption in the form of a secondary uploader. We want to bring up that you must be Extremely careful with encryption. If external encryption is used you must keep the key safe or your files will not be usable. Be sure when using encryption you put your key in a safe place as we will not be able to unencrypt your files.
The 1.4.0 changes with some structural adjustments are still coming in and will be released soon but this release was needed early to address the file upload issue. A default timeout of 180 seconds has been added, this is very useful on massive files > 50gb due to the raw time and number of requests it takes to upload them. This timeout period has increased the reliability of the uploads considerably.
