Nirvanix SDN 2.0.3.3 Release Notes
Summary
This document provides a list of both fixed and known issues for the release of NWS 2.0.3.3. Fixed issues have all been addressed since the general availability (GA) release of NWS 2.0.1. For known, open issues, a workaround has been provided, where possible.
Definition of statuses:
These issues are especially noteworthy; they may be new features, changes to existing features, or changes to the API. New issues are highlighted in the beginning of the release notes document as they are deemed to be critical in this release.
These issues are actively being worked on by our Engineering department. They may or may not be scheduled for an upcoming release.
These issues have been fixed and verified by QA since the last release.

GetPathInfo |
A new web service was added to the API which allows Nirvanix users to request the information for a file or folder. This capability can also serve as a replacement for customers that currently use the ListFolder call to see if a file exists.
The new GetPathInfo WSDL may be found at http://services.nirvanix.com/ws/IMFS.asmx. More details about this method may be found in the API documentation.

Upload CallbackURL |
Due to numerous customer requests, uploads to the SDN will now automatically send notification to a callback URL. This call adheres to the same convention as the other callback URL options in the API, but is far more useful for any users currently utilizing browser-based uploads because they can now remain in-sync with server uploads without relying on the end-user’s browser or constantly polling the system to check when an upload has been completed. |
