    Nirvanix Web Services 1.1.4.9 Release Notes

    Summary

    This document provides a list of both fixed and known issues for the release of NWS 1.1.4.9. Fixed issues have all been addressed since the release of NWS 1.1.4.5. For known, open issues, a workaround has been provided, where possible.

    Definition of statuses:

    • New

    These issues are especially noteworthy; they may be new features, changes to existing features, or changes to the API. New issues are highlighted in the beginning of the release notes document as they are deemed to be critical in this release.

    These issues are actively being worked on by our Engineering department. They may or may not be scheduled for an upcoming release.

    • Closed

    These issues have been fixed and verified by QA since the last release.

    720 "PartialFileUpdate" is not considering storage limits Storage limits now apply when modifying an existing file through the Partial File Update feature. Closed N/A
    721 Media Commands (Resize) Fail When Accessing a Child Account Media commands, including image resize and audio/video transcoding now work properly when performed by a master account operating on a child account. Closed N/A
    723, 733 GetUploadNode and GetStorageNode Performance The performance of the GetUploadNode and GetStorageNode web services was improved dramatically (by up to 50%). Closed N/A
    N/A Virtual File indices added to the system The database was optimized to handle many file operations more efficiently. The target of this optimization was the ListFolder web service but other services may be improved as well. Closed N/A
